Paper excerpt:
As Freemasons in the 21st century, we constantly ask ourselves a question: "How do we stay relevant?" We must balance the age-old traditions of the past, practice our ritual and carry on the heritage of those who came before us, while appealing to the modern society at large, seeking to attract a large age group of men between the ages of 25 and 50 (on average), all without expressly asking a question: "Hey, do you want to join?" or engaging in any overt form of recruitment. It is, in fact, a daunting task. In fact, it can be more difficult than running a presidential election, but it doesn’t have to be.
